Fly on your own to Washington, D.C metro area.You will be met and transferredto the Courtyard by Marriott, Arlington. Meet your guide and enjoy a pasta buffet dinner at the KC Café in the KennedyCenter. After dinner walk through the Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts. Make a stop at the Marine Corps War Memorial (Iwo Jima Statue). Return to your hotel. (D)

Enjoy breakfast at the hotel and then meet your guide. Visit the Anderson House. Built between 1902 – 1905 in the heart of DuPont Circle, The Society of the Cincinnati is now housed in this beautiful 50 room mansion. Next you will visit The United States Botanic Garden, established by Congress in 1820, is one of the oldest botanic gardens in North America. Have a photo stop at the White House. Lunch will be on your own in historic Old Town Alexandria with free time to explore. After lunch enjoy a driving tour of Old town Alexandria. Next you will stop at the George Washington Masonic National Memorial, the FDR Memorial, the Jefferson Memorial, the Vietnam Veterans Memorial, the Lincoln Memorial, and the Korean War Veterans Memorial. Dinner this evening will be at the Tony & Joe's located on the waterfront in the fashionable Washington Harbor in Georgetown. After dinner continue with an Illuminated Monument Tour with a stop at the Air Force Memorial. Before returning to your hotel, you will visit the NEW September 11, 2001 Memorial at the Pentagon. This memorial remembers the 184 individuals that are forever linked through the horrific events that unfolded that day. (B, D)

Breakfast will be at your hotel today. Meet your guide and start your tour through the Embassies of Washington, D.C. Your pass will allow you to visit over 30 Embassies. Stroll the halls and gardens for these beautiful private buildings. Some of the Embassies offer indigenous treats, cultural performances, touring and shopping for exotic crafts and goods from their countries. Enjoy lunch on your own and then you can spend the afternoon visiting more Embassies or you may choice to visit the National Mall and explore some of the museums of the Smithsonian Institution. You may also choose to return to the hotel and enjoy all the amenities of your hotel. (B)

Optional Evening Excursion: Tour Ford's Theatre and then enjoy a musical performance in this historic theatre. Cost: $55 per person.

Enjoy breakfast at your hotel and then visit the Newseum, the only interactive museum of news. After the museum enjoy a champagne brunch onboard the Odyssey III Cruise Ship. Travel beneath the historic bridges spanning the Potomac while enjoying the live entertainment, impeccable cuisine and unparalleled views of the Capital's greatest monuments. Return to dockside and depart for Annapolis. Your guide will take you on a six block walking tour of this very historic town. Next visit the U. S. Naval Academy. While walking the scenic grounds of the academy, the contrasts in architecture reflect its' long and colorful history. Echoes of marching midshipmen from the 1800's still resound through the steps of new students. There will be free time to explore and browse the unique shops around the Harbor area. Enjoy dinner tonight at the 85-item buffet at Phillips Flagship Restaurant that overlooks the waters of the Potomac River. On your drive back to the hotel you will stop at the National World War II Memorial(B, L, D,) 

Monday, May 3, 2010 
After breakfast at the hotel you will check out, transfer back to the airport and depart for home with wonderful memories of the treasures of Washington, the Embassies and Annapolis. (B)
