We accept cash or checks only for day trips. Ten days before your day trip, we will send you an itinerary and pick up information. Please consult the registration forms below for more information. As all of our tours, spots are filled on a first come, first served basis. If you are interested in a tour, please make your reservation as soon as possible even if the Day Trip is months away. Today travel to the “Sunny Side of Louisville” to Clarksville, Indiana where you will enjoy an afternoon at the Derby Dinner Theater.  After a delightful buffet luncheon, sit back and enjoy Barry Manilow’s Grammy Award-winning song, Lola, being brought to life onstage! This love letter to musicals of the 1940’s is full of dazzling costumes, splashy production numbers, and original songs created by Barry Manilow. 

Come on-a My House - Wednesday, April 16, 2014 - $76 
Depart today and travel to Augusta, Kentucky, the home of the late Rosemary Clooney.  Upon arrival you will enjoy a tour of Augusta including a stop at the old Augusta City Jail.  The Jail was built in 1811 and is now on the National Register of Historic Places.  Lunch will be in tour at the Parkview Restaurant.  After lunch board your coach for the Rosemary Clooney House Museum.  You will see a large display of memorabilia from her career including items from “White Christmas” and a tuxedo worn by Bob Hope.  There will be time for browsing in the quaint shops or, perhaps, a stroll along the river walk.  Stop at the General Store where there is an old fashioned ice cream counter before returning home. The Good and the Bad - Tuesday, April 29, 2014 - $82
We start this tour in Newport, KY.  Today you will take a riding tour and learn about the history of gangsters in the area.  We will start this tour at the Gangster Dueling Piano Bar for a quick briefing before we tour the area.  After the tour, you will have a wonderful buffet lunch at the Syndicate. Now for The Good part of our trip.  We will have a guided tour of The Mother of God Church in Covington.  This is the church that has twin renaissance towers.  The history of this church goes back to 1842. Your guide will give you the history of this church.  Next stop will be the World Peace Bell. Upon entering, you will see a video explaining the bell from start to finish. Cincinnati Pick Up

Swiss Holiday-Wednesday, May 7, 2014-$70
The friendly Swiss community of Berne invites you to relax in their charming community at the headwaters of the Wabash River. You’ll enjoy a warm welcome as you observe the horse-drawn Amish buggies and authentic Swiss architecture, complete with flower boxes cascading with color. Your first stop will be the First Mennonite Church. Tour this large Gothic-style church where you learn of the religious persecution that caused the settlers to immigrate to America. You will cross Main Street to view the Muensterberg Clock Tower and walk around the plaza.  Lunch will be at Berne Dining.  After lunch proceed to the Swiss Woodworking Shop and Retail Store.  Located behind the store is an Amish Home which you are invited into.  The next stop will be the family owned Swissland Cheese Shop where you may purchase cheese if you so desire.  Your last stop will be the Limberlost Cabin Home. Cincinnati PICK UP

 

 

Crystal Elegance - Thursday, May 15, 2014 - $89
Depart and travel to Tiffin, Ohio.  You will tour Crystal Traditions where you will discover the magic of glass.  After lunch in tour, you will tour the Ritz Theatre, a grand old vaudeville palace that was completely renovated in 1998.  Finally, travel to the Tiffin Glass Museum to see a display of over 2000 pieces of Tiffin Glass arranged chronologically in beautiful oak cabinets. Dayton Pick Up

It is truly a fantasyland setting of elegance and splendor. Your luncheon will be served at The Glitz Restaurant. The three-course lunch is sure to please any palate. Dessert will be The Nonesuch Kiss! Be sure to save room for this. Next stop will be the Wildside Winery where you will enjoy wine tasting. Undulata Saddlebred Horse Farm - Thursday, July 17, 2014 - $94
American Saddlebred Horse Farm will be your first stop today in Shelbyville, Kentucky.  Shelby County is “The American Saddlebred Capitol of the World.”  Lunch will be at the local favorite, Claudia Sanders Dinner House.  The afternoon includes a stop at SweetHome Spun Farm, where sheep graze in the pasture.  A unique afternoon for all. Dayton Pick Up                                 

VIP Thoroughbred Private Farms - Wednesday, July 30, 2014 - $85
If you like horses and beautiful country, this is the trip for you.  You will have a VIP tour of the top Thoroughbred farms in Lexington.  See first hand some of the horses that make up the billion dollar Thoroughbred industry.  Your tour will give you access to farms not available to the general public.  One of the highlights will be a visit to the farm where the Disney Film “Secretariat” was filmed. After your tour, enjoy the soup, salad and sandwich bar at the Marriott Griffin Gate. Now you will continue onto the  Thoroughbred Park.  Upon arrival, follow the limestone track which you will view 42 plaques of the historic figuers in the Thorough bred Industry.  You will also be treated to 13 life-sized horse sculptures.  What is more exciting, there are seven horses racing down a track to the finish line.  Board your coach after this delightful tour for your return trip home. A Day in Ripley, Ohio - Wednesday, August 27, 2014 - $79
A river town filled with history.  Your day will start with a tour of the Rankin House. The Rev. John Rankin’s House was at the end of the “100 Steps to Freedom” and part of the Underground Railroad. You will also visit the John Parker House which is listed as a National Historic Landmark in Ripley. John Parker was a slave and an inventor. The First Presbyterian Church where the Rev. John Rankin preached is also one of our stops. Lunch will be at Moyer’s Winery. Before departing Ohio’s river town, there will be a surprise stop before returning to Cincinnati. Cincinnati Pick Up         

Longaberger Baskets - Thursday, September 11, 2014 - $92
Baskets, baskets and more baskets!  Visit the Homestead to see the world famous Longaberger baskets being made from start to finish.  It’s not just a place, it’s a state of mind!  Lunch will be served right at the Homestead that is like a step backin time, an atmosphere of wholesome, old-fashioned quality and charm.  Afterward, you will have time to visit the wonderful shops.  You will have the opportunity to purchase two different types of baskets.  Even if you “basket accessories”, you can purchase them there.  Later in the afternoon, you will depart for home.  Dayton Pick Up                               

What do you know about Marion, Ohio? - Tuesday, September 30, 2014 - $81
Did you know that the Wyandot Popcorn Museum has the largest collections of popcorn wagons? You will feel that you are going to the circus when you enter the Circus Tent which houses all of these priceless wagons. You will smell the popcorn popping when you enter the tent. Lunch will be at The Warehouse. We will have a private room for this wonderful buffet. Next stop will be the Palace Theatre. Here you will learn the history of the theatre and enjoy an organ concert. Did you know that the 29th President of the United States lived here? Who was the 29th President? His home was where he launched his quest for the presidency in 1920. Little Nashville Fall Foliage - Wednesday, October 22, 2014 - $69
Board your motorcoach and travel to Nashville, Indiana.  Upon arrival you will enjoy a buffet luncheon at the Brown County Inn. After lunch the choice is yours, you can take a tour of the For Bare Feet Factory located in their new facility in Martinsville, or you can browse through the unique shops that make up this wonderful little town. You may want to take a train ride or just sit and people watch. There will be time for shopping also if you decide to go on the tour upon returning. It’s Mystery time again At Derby Dinner Playhouse, in Clarksville, Indiana. Music in the Mountains - Thursday, November 20, 2014 - $98
Your day starts with a drive through the rolling hills of Kentucky.  Upon arriving at Renfro Valley you will enjoy a Boarding House lunch at the Lodge Restaurant.  This lunch will be served family style and there will be plenty of food for everyone.  After lunch you will go to the Red Barn Theater for an afternoon of entertainment, Kentucky style.  Be ready for some down home fun with hands-a-clapping and feet-a-stomping.  After your fun afternoon, board your coach for a short ride to Berea, Kentucky.  Here you will delight in browsing and shopping at the wonderful craft shop the Artisan Center.  Later this afternoon you will depart for home.  Dayton Pick Up
