Join us for a day of fun on the Ohio River. Board our BB Riverboat and enjoy a sumptuous luncheon buffet and entertainment on your two hour scenic cruise. After your time on the river, you will disembark the boat and board your coach for a two hour informative tour of Northern Kentucky.
COME TO THE CABARET Tuesday, July 23, 2013 Cincinnati & Dayton Departure $86
Depart and travel west to Boggstown, Indiana where you will enjoy Ragtime music, great stories & funny jokes from the turn of the century through the year 1929. The show is staged in an historic venue and features dual piano & banjo music, creating a unique experience that you won’t soon forget. Following lunch and the performance you will return home with great musical memories.
A Summer Day in Licking County Wednesday, July 31, 2013 Cincinnati Departure $79
A real treat is in store for you today as you travel north to Licking County. Your first stop will be the beautiful Davis-Shai House for a tour. Lunch will be there along with entertainment. If you would like you might enjoy taking a walking tour of Legacy Gardens located on the grounds. Your guide will be waiting for you to take a tour of Historic Granville. Tours of the Granville Inn, Buxton Inn and Bryn Du Mansion along with a riding tour of Granville. Next stop is Whit’s Frozen Custard. How nice will that be? Homemade custard with a choice of chocolate or vanilla for you to enjoy during your trip to Dawes Aroboretum. A naturalist will be your guide for a riding tour as you view the many gardens, plant collections of this natural area. There is also a Japanese Garden for you to enjoy. At the end of the trip you might like to take a look in their Gift Shop. After this enjoyable day, board your coach for your return trip home.
ANTIQUES & AMBIANCE Friday, August 9, 2013 Cincinnati & Dayton Departure $84
Nestled in the rolling Kentucky countryside, you will visit Irish Acres Gallery of Antiques. Here you will view beautiful American & European furniture, glassware, china, crystal, silver, linens, dolls, jewelry and rugs, as well as decorative accessories and international giftware in a fantasyland setting of elegance and splendor. Your luncheon will be served in The Glitz Restaurant which exudes design elegance and has earned a national award for its “glitzy” black and mauve interior. The three-course lunch is sure to please any palate. Try the signature “Nonesuch Kiss” for dessert. After antique shopping and browsing, you will board your motor coach for a short ride to Lexington where you will pick up your step-on guide for a one hour riding tour of Lexington, the “Horse Capital of the World.” After a full day of enjoyment, you will depart for home.

Come and spend a lovely day with us in Starlight, Indiana. Lunch will be at Huber Family Farm and Restaurant. Enjoy “Down Home Cooking”, with country fried chicken, Huber honey ham, fried biscuits with apple butter, slaw, mashed potatoes and gravy, fresh vegetables, chicken and dumplings. Top this all off with fruit cobbler, are you full yet? Next stop will be Huber Orchard and Winery. This farm has been family owned and farmed since 1843. Brose through the winery and the outdoor market you might just want to purchase some apples or wine. Next stop will be something for your sweet tooth. You will enjoy a stop at Schimlpff’s Confectionery. This shop has been making candy since 1871. This business has seen wars, floods, depressions and recessions and has survived through four generations. Besides candy they also sell ice cream. Enjoy a scoop of ice cream before heading home.

Travel north to Marion, Ohio where you’ll join your step-on guide to visit three museums in one city! Beginning with Heritage Hall, you will stop at the Wyandot Popcorn Museum, the world’s largest and only museum with a collection of popcorn antiques. Some of the relics housed here date back as far as the early 1900’s and all have been restored to their original beauty. You’ll see the great history of the progression of the telephone industry with memorabilia dating back to the 1800’s at the Buckeye Telephone Museum. Ever wonder how steam shovels, road machinery, and farm equipment were made in the 1800’s? You’ll find out at the Huber Museum. Following lunch at The Warehouse, you will be entertained at Marion’s Historic Palace Theater where you will experience the feeling of being outdoors in a Spanish courtyard under trwinkling stars and lofty clouds as the “Mighty” Wurlitzer organ fills the room with beautiful music.

This morning you will travel across the river to English, Kentucky, located south of Florence off of I-71 in Carroll County. Housed in an old schoolhouse, the Kentucky Jamboree offers a real Kentucky music experience with the Robinson Family. When you come to the Kentucky Jamboree, come hungry. They will be serving up a great homecooked meal, featuring down home favorites for you to enjoy. After lunch and entertainment, you will board your motor coach for a short ride to the popular Kentucky Speedway. You will visit a luxury suite as you hear facts and figures about this state-of-the-art facility. Go into the infield on the apron for a spin around the oval track and discover what a 14 degree banking really feels like! Your tour includes an up-close look at areas that are off limits to fans during race weekends. At the end of the day, it’s back across the river with pleasant memories of your Kentucky Capers.

This tour provides a rare glimpse into the behind-the-scenes operation of the Greater Cincinnati & Northern Kentucky Airport, also known as CVG. The airport maintains its own police station where you will learn of the safety procedures that are implemented at the airport. A stop at the fire station will provide an overview of the safety precautions that are taken when there is an emergency. You will also see the different runways and learn about their specific uses. Next you will travel to the Creation Museum, the impressive state-of-the-art facility featuring majestic murals and great masterpieces brimming with pulsating color. Visit the Stargazers Room for a planetarium experience. The Botanical Gardens offer nearly a mile of trails with beautiful themed gardens, waterfalls and pavillions.
