Oglebay.  Explore 13 period rooms focusing on Wheeling’s earliest settlement through the opulent Edwardian era, plus the Wymer General Store and Sinclair Pharmacy collections.  Discover impressive collections of American furniture, china, silver, glass, pewter, toys, and textiles.  Then, celebrate with some furry friends at the Good Zoo.  Meet some of Santa’s reindeers, find some “zoovenirs” at the Nature Express Gift Shop, grab some hot cocoa at the Sleigh Bell Café.  Then prepare to be amazed by a dazzling light show on the Good Zoo patio!  The light show features 40,000 LED lights choreographed to the music of the Nutcracker.  Next, depart for the Wilson Lodge for a delicious holiday buffet dinner.  After dinner, meet your local guide and ride through the Festival of Lights.  Beginning in 1985, the Winter Festival of Lights has grown into one of the nation’s largest holiday light shows, attracting more than one million visitors each year. Identified as one of the best holiday light displays in the United States, the Winter Festival of Lights features three hundred acres of twinkling lights over a six-mile drive. The dazzling display includes 90 lighted attractions boasting more than one million energy-efficient LED lights. (L,D)
